WHEN IN DOUBT, FLAT OUT

It's been over ten years since I threw my leg over my first bike, a Lucky 7 CAG, and since that day I developed nothing but an addiction for petrol fumes (Next Level).

I've thrown countless hours, dollar bills and body parts at not only following and fueling a never ending addiction but also perfecting the mechanical innards and heart of my machines alongside techniques, styles and lines I use to compete with the best.

RACING LESSONS

Witness Me! Officially started racing pocket bikes back in 2008 when the Amateur CAG class was still a thing and from there, I eventually crawled to open class. I never really aimed to take podium positions but always looked for stern and cut throat competition as it molded and refined my skills, Forcing me to continually aim higher, improve mechanically and learn new skills.

I then moved up to open class Scooters thanks to 3Bore Racing and ended up on a Gilera Runner 180. I then jumped onto a Motard, and sat upon a KTM 450SMR provided by Torquesure. Currently I use a Yamaha YZ450F, a bike I converted from stock to race winning.

Because of this I am vastly experienced in SA's short circuit racing, placing first multiple times on pocket bikes, Scooters and Super Motards.

MECHANICAL KNOW HOW

With motor racing being as expensive as it is, I've always worked extensively on my own machines to afford to compete. After I repaired my first motor after a riding/water mishap, I developed an incredibly strong curiosity on the workings of the internal combustion engine. This passion never ceased to this day and I try to squeeze every increment of performance I can out of whatever I can climb onto.

After the initial spark I have lived a life to ride eternal, shiny and chrome. Along with my own knowledge, I Joined Emtek Racing in 2013 working on the Yamaha Superbike team. From there I moved onto the National Bidvest Offroad and Enduro bike teams.

I have setup everything and anything on-road(from pocket bikes to national superbikes) along with the setup of offroad dirt and enduro bikes.

BY ME DEEDS I HONOUR HIM, SPONSORS

Through all the years, the bigger engines and faster bikes, I cannot carry on alone. As the engine size increase, so does the price tag to a point where I need to branch out and find partners that can also benefit from being with me. Currently I'm focusing on building a large following on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, StumbleUpon and on this site.

Through Guides, Vlogs, Racedays, Articles, Lessons, Race Prep and Additions to my recently formed blog, I hope to grow Rookie Racing and attract more people into the local racing circuit.
